About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Edit raw video footage into polished, professional final videos
- Perform cutting, trimming, sequencing, transitions, audio synchronization, subtitles, and basic color correction
- Create videos for product launches, presentations, marketing campaigns, social media, events, and internal communication
- Develop videos from concepts, scripts, storyboards, or rough ideas
- Convert technical or product-related information into simple, engaging visual stories
- Create opening sequences, title cards, end screens, callouts, highlights, and visual emphasis
- Add motion graphics, text animations, icons, overlays, screen recordings, and graphical elements
- Edit software and product demonstrations for viewer clarity
- Synchronize voiceovers, music, sound effects, animations, and on-screen activity
- Create concept videos communicating product, technology, feature, or future-experience visions
- Improve footage through pacing, transitions, visual effects, sound design, and storytelling
- Produce short-form and long-form content for different platforms and project requirements
- Create content for presentations, exhibitions, customer demonstrations, social media, websites, and corporate communication
- Maintain visual consistency across SAI videos, including typography, branding, transitions, colors, logos, and presentation style
- Review videos for visual, audio, spelling, timing, and synchronization issues
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
- Organize project files, footage, exports, graphics, audio, and reusable assets
- Collaborate with product, design, marketing, and management teams to understand requirements and incorporate feedback
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong understanding of video editing principles and visual storytelling
- Good sense of pacing, timing, composition, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to convert an idea or rough brief into a complete video
- Ability to understand the objective and audience before starting an edit
- Strong attention to detail
- Good understanding of audio editing and synchronization
- Knowledge of color correction and basic color grading
- Experience with motion graphics and animated text
- Ability to work with screen recordings and software demonstrations
- Ability to select suitable music, sound effects, transitions, and visual styles
- Ability to manage feedback and revise videos efficiently
- Experience with one or more of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CapCut or similar editing tools, or AI-assisted video, image, voice, or animation tools is preferred
- Knowledge of motion graphics, compositing, 2D/3D animation, or basic Blender/Cinema 4D workflows is an advantage
- Degree/Diploma in Video Editing, Film, Media, Animation, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
- Relevant professional or freelance video-editing experience
- Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work
- Portfolio examples demonstrating standard video editing, creative editing, product or corporate videos, motion graphics, concept videos, promotional content, screen-recording/product demonstration videos, or social media content
