About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to Haitian Creole-speaking older adults via telehealth
- Conduct sessions fluently in Haitian Creole within patients’ language and cultural context
- Build individualized treatment plans around each patient’s goals and needs
- Manage an independent caseload and clinical decisions with support from the care team
- Complete documentation in the EMR using AI-assisted notes
- Participate in regular paid case consultations with experienced clinical leaders
- Serve older adults through grief, loss, isolation, and difficult life transitions
- Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, and provider support staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be located in the United States
- Active, independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent) in the state where this role is posted
- Fluent in English and Haitian Creole
- Able to conduct full therapy sessions in Haitian Creole
- Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy
- Experience with older adult or geriatric populations preferred
- Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Medicare billing experience is a plus
- For 1099 contractors: starting at 15 hours per week
- For W2 employees: starting at 25 hours per week
- At least 15 weekly sessions required, according to the application form
