About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to Spanish-speaking older adults via telehealth
- Conduct sessions fluently in Spanish within patients’ language and cultural context
- Build individualized treatment plans around each patient’s goals and needs
- Manage an independent caseload and clinical decisions with support from the care team
- Complete documentation in the EMR using AI-assisted notes
- Join regular, paid case consultations with experienced clinical leaders
- Serve Spanish-speaking older adults through Sailor Health’s Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy model
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be located in the United States
- Active, independent California clinical license: LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC
- Fluent in English and Spanish, able to conduct full therapy sessions in Spanish
- Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy
- Experience with older adult or geriatric populations preferred
- Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Medicare billing experience is a plus
- Ability to build at least 15 weekly sessions; role starts at 25 hours per week and can build from there
