About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth
- Build individualized treatment plans around each patient’s goals and needs
- Manage an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with support from the care team
- Complete documentation in the EMR using AI-assisted notes
- Participate in regular paid case consultations with experienced clinical leaders
- Deliver telehealth therapy fully from home
- Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, provider support staff, and clinical directors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be located in the United States
- Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program
- Active, independent license to practice psychology in the state where the role is posted
- Experience with older adult or geriatric populations preferred
- Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Medicare billing experience is a plus
- Must be willing to work at least 15 hours per week for 1099 roles or 25 hours per week for W2 roles
- Must have at least 15 weekly sessions with Sailor Health
- Must hold or be able to demonstrate an active, unrestricted license allowing independent practice without clinical supervision
