About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth
- Build individualized treatment plans around each patient’s goals and needs
- Manage an independent caseload and clinical decisions with support from the care team
- Complete documentation in the EMR using AI-assisted notes
- Participate in regular, paid case consultations with experienced clinical leaders
- Treat patients covered by Medicare
- Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, and provider support staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be located in the United States
- Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program
- Active, independent license to practice psychology in the state where this role is posted
- Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- At least 15 weekly sessions with Sailor Health
- Experience with older adult or geriatric populations preferred
- Medicare billing experience a plus
- PSYPACT authorization through APIT may be applicable to clinical psychologists
- Must provide care via telehealth
- Part-time or full-time availability; 1099 contractors start at 15 hours/week and W2 employees start at 25 hours/week
