About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth
- Build individualized treatment plans around patients’ goals and needs
- Manage an independent caseload and clinical decisions with support from the care team
- Complete documentation in the EMR using AI-assisted notes
- Participate in regular paid case consultations with experienced clinical leaders
- Deliver care fully from home
- Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, and the provider support team
- Serve patients across all 50 states through Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be located in the United States
- Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program
- Active, independent license to practice psychology in the state where the role is posted
- Experience with older adult or geriatric populations preferred
- Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Medicare billing experience is a plus
- Minimum commitment of 15 weekly sessions with Sailor Health
- 1099 contractor availability starting at 15 hours per week or W2 employee availability starting at 25 hours per week
- Must hold at least one active, unrestricted license allowing independent practice without clinical supervision
- Must provide license information for each state selected
- Must answer questions regarding PSYPACT authorization, Counseling Compact privileges, Medicare opt-out status, geriatric patient experience, availability, caseload, and existing telehealth affiliations
