About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth
Build individualized treatment plans around each patient’s goals and needs
Manage an independent caseload and clinical decisions with support from the care team
Complete documentation in the EMR using AI-assisted notes
Join regular, paid case consultations with experienced clinical leaders
Provide telehealth therapy fully from home
Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, and provider support staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be located in the United States
Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program
Active, independent license to practice psychology in the state where this role is posted
Experience with older adult or geriatric populations preferred
Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
Medicare billing experience is a plus
For 1099 contractor roles, availability starting at 15 hours per week
For W2 employee roles, availability starting at 25 hours per week
Clinicians must be looking to have at least 15 weekly sessions with Sailor Health
