About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth
- Build individualized treatment plans around each patient's goals and needs
- Manage an independent caseload and clinical decisions with support from a care team
- Complete documentation in Sailor Health's EMR with AI-assisted notes
- Join regular, paid case consultations with experienced clinical leaders
- Sailor Health provides Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy for older adults
- Care Navigators and Healthcare Advocates handle patients' non-clinical needs
- Clinical Quality Leads provide ongoing consultation and the provider support team answers questions
- Serve patients across all 50 states
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be located in the United States
- Active, independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent) in the state where this role is posted
- Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy
- Experience with older adult or geriatric populations preferred
- Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Medicare billing experience a plus
- 1099 contractor availability starting at 15 hours per week, or W2 employee availability starting at 25 hours per week
- At least 15 weekly sessions with Sailor Health
