About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults in a virtual setting
- Design personalized treatment plans for each patient
- Work independently as part of a collaborative care team
- Manage documentation using the EMR and AI documentation tools
- Participate in regular paid case consultations
- Provide therapy through Sailor Health's virtual practice for older adults
- Support patients navigating grief, loss, isolation, and difficult life transitions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active, independent clinical license: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent
- Licensed in Louisiana
- Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy
- Experience working with older adults, seniors, or geriatric populations preferred
- Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Medicare billing experience is a plus
- Able to provide at least 15 weekly sessions
- 1099 arrangement starts at 15 hours per week or W2 arrangement starts at 25 hours per week
