About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults in a virtual setting
- Design personalized treatment plans for each patient
- Work independently as part of a collaborative care team
- Manage documentation using the EMR and AI documentation tools
- Participate in regular paid case consultations
- Serve patients through Sailor Health's virtual practice, which provides Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy for older adults
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active, independent clinical license: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent
- Must be licensed in Iowa
- Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy
- Experience working with older adults, seniors, or geriatric populations preferred
- Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Medicare billing experience is a plus
- Available to build at least 15 weekly sessions
- 1099 opportunity requires starting at 15 hours per week; W2 opportunity requires starting at 25 hours per week
