About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Produce structural drawings and Revit models meeting quality standards
Perform quality control on own work and project/design modelers’ work
Execute advanced modeling, including complex geometry
Develop detailed and accurate model components
Perform takeoffs and develop target value models
Ensure construction documents are accurately represented in the model
Create special condition elements and complex Revit families
Incorporate presentation considerations, including effective use of 3D views
Follow BIM content standards and development procedures
Work closely with the project team to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete
Create and communicate the plan of approach to the Project Manager
Document deliverable tasks and estimate hours
Execute sprint plans and reconcile them with the project team as needed
Communicate roadblocks early and often
Balance multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
Collaborate with other disciplines regarding design changes and model challenges
Understand the client value map and deliver projects that meet client expectations
Participate in continuing education opportunities and material groups
Update and improve standards and best practices
Continue developing proficiency in materials, markets, and project types

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit with strong structural modeling capabilities
Working knowledge of BIM standards, modeling procedures, and coordination workflows
Ability to develop detailed structural drawings and construction documentation
Strong understanding of structural systems and construction methods
Experience with complex modeling, parametric families, and advanced Revit tools
Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and shifting project priorities
Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and external clients
Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with project goals and standards
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Willingness to travel 10–15%
