Key responsibilities & impact

Provide commissioning services through off-site development work and on-site physical verification services
Work with cloud-based commissioning technology and software
Develop detailed functional performance test procedures
Attend commissioning and related meetings, chair meetings, and take minutes
Complete onsite commissioning forms and identify deficiencies
Represent VSC Group at commissioning site meetings
Present progress status
Identify items contractors must complete
Answer contractor and client/owner representative questions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completion of a Mechanical Engineering degree or Technologist/Technician diploma/degree in a related field
2+ years of equivalent MEP construction, commissioning, and project management experience
Computer literacy with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Project
Ability to work within a team environment
Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to respond thoughtfully and effectively to sensitive situations
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Travel throughout Alberta to perform commissioning services required
Frequent travel required
