About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and manage a scalable, secure, and resilient Azure reinsurance platform
Oversee full-stack delivery across Java/Python/.NET backends and Angular/React frontends
Lead cloud and DevOps practices using Azure, containers, AKS/ACA, and CI/CD
Lead adoption of AI-assisted development tools and generative AI practices
Mentor and coach engineering teams
Collaborate with the Solution Owner, business analysts, and end users to translate business needs
Define patterns for integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications
Align solutions with architecture, security, operational, PII, and ICS standards
Drive continuous improvement in processes, user experience, stability, and efficiency
Lead issue triage and root-cause analysis for critical production support

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years designing and delivering solutions, ideally in insurance or financial services
Expert in Java Spring Boot and Spring Batch or .NET C#, preferably both
SQL Server or Postgres experience preferred
Strong Angular or React skills with TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Azure cloud experience; hands-on AKS experience required
Experience with containers, ACA, and CI/CD
Proven experience using AI-assisted software development tools and workflows
Demonstrated ability to apply generative AI to improve developer productivity, solution quality, and delivery efficiency
Strong understanding of responsible AI principles, including data privacy, fairness, explainability, and secure enterprise adoption
Hands-on experience defining or implementing AI capabilities within enterprise applications and delivery platforms
Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services domains
Fluent in English, written and spoken
