About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct thorough 90-minute psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for adults and older adults
- Provide evidence-based treatment for mental health disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage psychiatric disorders using psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and other non-pharmacologic approaches
- Maintain an active intake schedule with follow-up visits
- Utilize measurement-based care tools
- Collaborate with care coordination and other clinical team members
- Identify patients appropriate for interventional psychiatry, including TMS/SAINT and Spravato, and initiate referrals
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations
- Engage in clinical consultation, receive feedback, and improve care
- Diagnose complex psychiatric conditions and initiate and monitor psychopharmacological stabilization
- Route patients into appropriate care pathways
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Active DEA registration
- Current BLS certification
- Active and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California
- NP103 status is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with Measurement-Based Care tools and interventional psychiatry modalities, including TMS, esketamine/Spravato, and accelerated neurostimulation, is highly preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume intake environment with dynamic scheduling and tight care coordination workflows
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must have or not require future sponsorship, as indicated by the application form
