About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health care to adults and older adults
- Conduct thorough 90-minute psychiatric diagnostic evaluations
- Use Measurement-Based Care in a rapid-access clinical environment
- Diagnose complex psychiatric conditions
- Initiate and monitor psychopharmacological stabilization
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage psychiatric disorders using psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and other non-pharmacologic approaches
- Maintain an active intake schedule with follow-up visits
- Identify patients appropriate for interventional psychiatry, including TMS/SAINT and Spravato, and initiate referrals
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations
- Collaborate in real time with the Care Coordination team and other clinical team members
- Receive feedback, improve care, and engage in clinical consultation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- Board certification as a PMHNP by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Active DEA registration
- Current BLS certification
- Active and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California
- Familiarity with Measurement-Based Care tools and interventional psychiatry modalities, including TMS, esketamine/Spravato, and accelerated neurostimulation, is highly preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume intake environment with dynamic scheduling and tight care coordination workflows
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must answer whether future sponsorship will be required
