About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct thorough 90-minute psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for adults and older adults
  • Provide evidence-based treatment for patients with mental health disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Manage psychiatric disorders using psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and other non-pharmacologic approaches
  • Maintain an active intake schedule with follow-up visits
  • Utilize measurement-based care tools
  • Collaborate with team members and the Care Coordination team to provide optimal care
  • Identify patients appropriate for interventional psychiatry, including TMS/SAINT and Spravato
  • Initiate patient referrals into appropriate care pathways
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations
  • Engage in clinical consultation, receive feedback, and improve care

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing
  • Board certification as a PMHNP by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
  • Active DEA registration
  • Current BLS certification
  • Active and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California
  • Familiarity with Measurement-Based Care tools and interventional psychiatry modalities (TMS, esketamine/Spravato, accelerated neurostimulation) is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume intake environment with dynamic scheduling and tight care coordination workflows
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must disclose whether future sponsorship will be required
