About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct 90-minute psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for adults and older adults

  • Manage psychiatric disorders using psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and other non-pharmacologic approaches
  • Maintain an active intake schedule with follow-up visits
  • Use Measurement-Based Care tools
  • Collaborate with care coordination and clinical team members
  • Identify patients appropriate for interventional psychiatry, including TMS/SAINT and Spravato, and initiate referrals
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations
  • Participate in clinical consultation, receive feedback, and improve care

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing
  • Board certification as a PMHNP by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
  • Active DEA registration
  • Current BLS certification
  • Active and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California
  • NP103 status is preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with Measurement-Based Care tools and interventional psychiatry modalities (TMS, esketamine/Spravato, accelerated neurostimulation) is highly preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume intake environment with dynamic scheduling and tight care coordination workflows
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
