About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide building maintenance services at client facilities
Support on-site electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs focused on non-critical building and grounds systems
Perform general area cleanup and touch-up painting
Manage and maintain tool inventory
Repair doors and mount signage
Replace light bulbs and address minor electrical issues
Fix minor plumbing leaks and drainage issues
Perform basic carpentry repairs and improvements
Complete industrial cleaning and light-duty mechanical tasks
Monitor and replace HVAC filters and light bulbs
Hang wall art and shelving
Dismantle and install furniture and cabinets
Set up and take down tables and chairs for meetings or events
Perform seasonal snow removal, landscaping, and outdoor cleanup
Complete carpet cleaning or replacement projects
Undertake other tasks and special projects assigned by the Client Project Manager or designated personnel

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in building maintenance or a related field
Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
Must be able to work from heights
Ability to handle various tasks and projects with attention to detail and quality
Effective communication and strong customer service skills
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 40 lbs
Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergencies
Ability to move quickly and efficiently in work environments
Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
Clear vision, with or without correction, while wearing safety glasses
Ability to differentiate color-coded warning signs, labels, and cables
Ability to work across a wide range of indoor temperatures
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snow
Ability to work in elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection
Valid driver's license for work-related travel, as required
