About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate, receive, and document deliveries ranging from UPS and FedEx packages to multi-truck dedicated shipments
Use heavy equipment to offload shipments
Pack and ship equipment as necessary
Use systems for receipts, shipments, and inventory management
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean loading dock and staging area
Evaluate receipt conditions and coordinate follow-up actions for damaged shipments
Order and stock office and breakroom supplies
Receive shipments of fully loaded racks
Decommission old racks
Move devices and racks into and out of critical spaces
Use hand and power tools to install racks
Conduct inventories and material audits
Install devices and cabling in racks
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Work with people in a variety of roles to support data center operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience working in a shipping and receiving department or warehouse position for at least 3 years
Ability to execute manual tasks and lift up to 50 pounds
Experience using powered forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, packaging tools and materials
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Must adhere to site-specific safety and security protocols
Must wear PPE as needed, including steel-toe boots, vest, hard hat, and gloves
Comfortable working in warehouse/loading dock environments
Ability to work full-time shifts, potentially including early starts or rotating weekends
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, nights, overtime, alternating shifts, outdoor work during extreme weather, or hazardous environments as required
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to be great at the job
