About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide building maintenance services at client facilities
Support on-site electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs for non-critical building and grounds systems
Perform general area cleanup and touch-up painting
Manage tool inventory and maintain tools
Repair doors and mount signage
Replace light bulbs and address minor electrical issues
Fix minor plumbing leaks and drainage issues
Perform basic carpentry tasks
Complete industrial cleaning and light-duty mechanical tasks
Monitor and replace HVAC filters and light bulbs
Hang wall art and shelving
Dismantle and install furniture and cabinets
Set up and take down tables and chairs for meetings or events
Perform seasonal snow removal and landscaping cleanup
Handle carpet cleaning or replacement projects
Complete other tasks and special projects designated by the Client Project Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in building maintenance or a related field
Experience in HVAC, Critical Facility Maintenance, and Construction Finishing is a plus
Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
Must be able to work from heights
Ability to handle various tasks and projects with attention to detail and quality
Effective communication skills and strong customer service skills
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
Strong problem-solving abilities
