About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct unarmed interior and/or exterior patrols
Control facility access and egress
Manage gate traffic flow and maintain access logs
Monitor closed-circuit television and alarm systems
Monitor cameras after normal working hours and notify DPR personnel of issues
Observe and report suspicious activity
Compose security logs and reports
Deter criminal activity and misconduct
Distribute and enforce on-site and global standard operating procedures
Assist with and train new staff on security systems, SOPs, patrols, post orders, etiquette, and customer service
Ensure client and company policies are followed
Support daily tasking and activities
Achieve 100% completion of log and report write-ups
Meet KPIs outlined by the Site Lead
Oversee Site Security Officers and enforce disciplinary measures in accordance with Salute HR policy
Submit accurate and timely timesheet documentation in Field Service
Fulfill contractual and revenue expectations defined in the Client SOW
Complete assigned Talent LMS training courses
Adhere to Salute safety standards and client security/privacy practices
Facilitate a pleasant client and customer experience with customer service as the primary focus

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or appropriate level of training per local jurisdiction
Ability to speak fluent English
Valid driver’s license for work-related travel, as required
Experience in customer service-related fields
Ability to handle stressful situations with tact, professionalism, and respect
Computer literacy with experience within the Microsoft Office suite
Basic CPR/AED/First Aid or BHV equivalent
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment up to 40 lbs
Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs
Ability to stand for long periods in various work environments
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment-related tasks
Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations
Ability to move quickly and efficiently within various work environments
Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
Clear vision, with or without correction, while wearing safety glasses
Ability to differentiate between color-coded warning signs, labels, and cables
Ability to work across varied indoor temperatures
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snow
Ability to work in elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection
Unarmed Security Officer license may be required by clients as part of the SOW
Data center experience preferred
Operational security experience preferred
