Key responsibilities & impact

Develop a structured sector or forward-looking technology thesis
Map markets, academic researchers, commercial trends, and ecosystem players
Source companies and investment opportunities
Perform rigorous technical diligence on venture opportunities
Write concise, publication-ready investment memos
Defend investment viewpoints in deal discussions
Participate in kickoff training, office hours, and peer reviews with the cohort
Work with the MD for AI and Robotics and an experienced investment team member
Attend recurring meetings and receive substantive feedback from a dedicated primary manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a graduate degree program in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
Strong research background
Deep expertise in AI, robotics, or edge/cloud infrastructure
Demonstrated evidence of building, researching, publishing, shipping, or founding
Strong analytical writing and communication skills
Genuine intellectual curiosity about company building, markets, and customers
Professional judgment and discretion; ability to handle confidential information
Ability to work in an unstructured environment and take initiative without close supervision
Availability for an in-person kickoff in Mountain View and regular hybrid presence during the program
