Key responsibilities & impact

Manage project development from beginning to end
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with IT Leadership
Develop project documentation according to ePMO standards
Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
Estimate resources, durations, and tasks required to achieve project goals
Draft budget proposals and recommend budget changes
Coordinate personnel assignments and delegate project tasks
Identify and resolve project issues
Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones
Develop progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Use PMO-established project execution and management tools
Conduct quality evaluations and analysis of staff impacted by projects
Develop training strategies with the Training team for affected stakeholders
Attend and facilitate meetings and contribute ideas to improve efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction
Manage scope changes, identify risks, and propose contingency plans
Develop and communicate project success criteria
Advise project team members and contractors on tasks and timelines
Coordinate project closure meetings, document lessons learned, and close project budgets
Organize time efficiently and contribute solutions to problems
Work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
Promote positivity, ownership, efficiency, and transparency with internal and external customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must currently live in California or be willing to relocate prior to employment
10 years of project management experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification issued by PMI
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong facilitation and presentation skills
Superb organizational ability and exceptional analytical skills
Ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize multiple tasks, and solve problems under deadline and resource constraints
Experience using MS Office tools, MS Project, MS Visio, MS Excel, WebEx, and similar tools
Ability to work with all levels of staff, including clinical providers and senior management
Ability to organize complex information into a simple format
Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
Flexibility in schedule to meet project deadlines
Ability to sit for extended periods
Sufficient dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and related peripherals
Reliable home internet connection
Pre-employment I-9, physical, positive background and reference checks, completed application, new hire orientation, and pre-employment PPDs
