About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work as a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Laser Scanning, point cloud processing, and digital engineering for complex environments such as FPSOs
Process, manage, publish, and store point clouds using Hexagon/Leica solutions
Prepare point clouds for publication in Plan360 and Smart 3D using the CloudWorx for S3D plugin and Autodesk solutions
Support the Digital Engineering team in implementing cloud-based semiautomated modeling technologies
Work with in-house solutions, such as Multivisão, and market solutions, such as Leica 3DR and FARO As-Built
Process point clouds to generate 3D meshes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
At least 4 years of experience in the field
Proven experience operating and configuring the Leica RTC360 Laser Scanner
Advanced knowledge of point cloud processing within the Leica ecosystem, including Cyclone Register360, applied to offshore/FPSO environments
Knowledge of and hands-on experience with FARO SCENE and Autodesk ReCap
Advanced knowledge of or practical experience with Smart 3D, Navisworks, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and Autodesk Forma
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem tools, including Microsoft 365, Copilot, and collaboration solutions
Active CREA registration
