About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and detail industrial plant designs using AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Perform advanced modeling of complex piping, equipment, steel structures, and supports
- Create, edit, and customize piping catalogs and specifications (Specs) using Plant 3D Spec Editor
- Develop and work with intelligent P&ID diagrams, ensuring their proper integration with the 3D model
- Validate data consistency between P&IDs and the 3D model using Data Manager
- Configure and generate isometric drawings (Isogen), orthographic views, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Perform multidisciplinary design coordination and identify interferences using Autodesk Navisworks (Clash Detection)
- Provide technical support across the various disciplines involved in the project, contributing to the integration and consistency of the solutions developed
- Apply relevant national and international technical standards to projects, including ASME, ANSI, API, DIN, and ABNT
- Contribute to the optimization and standardization of workflows, seeking to improve design quality and reduce inconsistencies and field installation errors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid practical experience developing, modeling, and/or coordinating industrial plant projects
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Experience modeling complex piping, equipment, steel structures, and supports
- Experience creating, editing, and customizing piping catalogs and specifications using Plant 3D Spec Editor
- Experience creating and integrating P&ID diagrams with 3D models
- Proficiency in Data Manager for validating project information and ensuring data consistency
- Experience configuring and automatically generating isometric drawings (Isogen), orthographic views, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Experience with Autodesk Navisworks, including multidisciplinary design coordination and Clash Detection
- Knowledge and application of relevant technical standards, such as ASME, ANSI, API, DIN, and ABNT
- Technical autonomy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work on multidisciplinary projects
- Availability to work in a hybrid model in São Paulo
- Preferred qualifications: experience in sanitation and wastewater infrastructure projects; experience with multidisciplinary projects and BIM environments; experience serving as a technical reference or technical lead; experience creating and implementing standards, libraries, Specs, and workflows in AutoCAD Plant 3D; experience identifying and preventing design clashes
