About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents
- Collaborate with residents, families, providers, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and applicable age- and population-specific standards
- Care for residents through preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment
- Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide resident education, and perform nursing interventions
- May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel
- Support delegates to ensure safe and reliable resident care and resolve care and service concerns
- Function within the Nurse Practice Act, administrative rules, professional nursing standards, and code of ethics
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 months experience in Long Term Care required
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
- Minimum of 30 hours per month
- One weekend shift per month
- Travel required to support multiple locations within 75-mile radius of permanent address
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred

Comp & perks- $15/hour premium on all hours worked
- $1.25/hour weekend shift differential
- $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

- Travel assignment within a 75-mile radius of permanent address
