About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents
- Collaborate with residents, families, providers, and other interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and use age- and population-specific standards
- Care for residents through preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment
- Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide resident education, and perform nursing interventions
- May serve as charge nurse
- Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel
- Support delegates to ensure safe, reliable resident care and resolve care and service concerns
- Practice according to the Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Rules, professional nursing standards, and Code of Ethics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Travel required to support multiple locations within 75-mile radius of permanent address
- 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred)
- Minimum of 30 hours per month
- One weekend shift per month
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred

Comp & perks- $15/hour premium on all hours worked
- $1.25/hour weekend shift differential
- $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
