Key responsibilities & impact

Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents
Collaborate with residents, families, providers, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care
Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and applicable age- and population-specific standards
Care for residents during preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment
Coordinate care, assess residents, provide resident education, and perform nursing interventions
Serve as charge nurse when assigned
Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel
Support delegates to ensure safe and reliable resident care
Resolve care and service concerns
Practice according to the Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Rules, nursing standards, and professional ethics

What you’ll need

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA
Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring, or possesses multistate licensure if in an NLC state
Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
Ability to work 40 scheduled hours weekly
Ability to work varying shifts
