About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to residents
- Collaborate with residents, families, providers and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care
- Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and age- and population-specific standards
- Care for residents through preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis and treatment
- Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide resident education and perform nursing interventions
- Serve as charge nurse when needed
- Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel
- Support delegates to ensure safe, reliable resident care and resolve care and service concerns
- Practice according to the Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Rules, nursing standards and the Code of Ethics for Nurses
Requirements
What you’ll need- Travel required to support multiple locations within 75-mile radius of permanent address
- 3 months experience in Long Term Care required
- Minimum of 30 hours per month
- One weekend shift per month
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications

Comp & perks- $15/hr premium
- $1.25/hour weekend shift differential
- $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
