About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enter purchase orders correctly into the D365 PO ERP system
- Submit purchase orders to vendors through the Next platform or email
- Maintain accurate data in order-tracking tools
- Review vendor-submitted tasks through Nexus and accept or reject them with communication
- Perform manual purchase-order adjustments in D365
- Export purchase-order copies and reports from ERP and Nexus systems for Planners and Vendors
- Communicate with SanMar Regional offices regarding purchase-order confirmations, updates, and issues
- Assist Production Planners with Air Requests to vendors to fill inventory gaps
- Research information across systems to answer Sales team I Forms regarding ETA information
- Track inbound shipments and adjust purchase orders for discrepancies
- Keep multiple systems synchronized and accurate throughout the day
- Work cross-functionally with Planners, Product Development, PD Ops, Regional Offices, Logistics, and Distribution
- Perform other assigned duties
- Comply with all policies and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of Planning Operations, Administrative or Supply Chain experience or related field
- Strong attention to detail and consistent accuracy and organization
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn Microsoft Office, D365 and Nexus
- Experience with entering data and looking up information in ERP systems
- Ability to handle a high volume of work and prioritize
- Ability to understand the order of operations
- Ability to research and apply information related to job functions
- Excellent communication, time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Team player who treats co-workers with respect and is willing to assist the team
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Self-starter requiring little supervision
