About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the technical operation of SAP systems throughout their entire lifecycle, in collaboration with external partners
Install and configure SAP systems, and carry out upgrades, patches, and updates
Monitor and optimize performance, availability, and operational processes
Develop SAP Basis standards as well as authorization and security concepts
Support data protection and compliance requirements
Support international SAP projects and further develop the SAP landscape in the areas of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and cloud technologies
Provide colleagues with expert technical support
Mentor and provide technical guidance to the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of hands-on experience in operating complex SAP landscapes as an SAP Basis Administrator
In-depth knowledge of hosted SAP environments and experience working with external service providers and hosting partners
Knowledge of SAP BTP, Cloud ALM, or comparable SAP technologies is a plus
Several years of experience with ABAP OO
In-depth understanding of logistics processes and their technical implementation
Knowledge of at least one of the following areas: SAP EWM, SAPUI5, MFS, or the integration of partially or fully automated warehouse systems
Fluent written and spoken German and English
Excellent written and spoken German and good English skills
Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
Strong teamwork and communication skills
High level of responsibility and an interest in contributing to the long-term development of the SAP EWM landscape
