About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers through proactive communication and timely feedback
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle for Operations and Warehouse & Distribution roles in British Columbia and the Prairies
- Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Partners to understand job requirements and implement recruitment strategies
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for key and recurring positions
- Build relationships with local communities, educational institutions, and industry networks
- Participate in intern recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviews, and follow-ups
- Plan, attend, and represent Saputo at career events, student recruitment activities, networking events, and campus initiatives
- Improve recruitment tools, processes, and technology, including AI-enabled solutions
- Support employer branding and social media outreach
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics and market insights to improve talent attraction decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of recruitment experience, attracting and hiring talent, ideally in a high-volume environment supporting operations and/or warehouse and distribution roles
- Ability to establish strong partnerships with hiring managers, candidates, and HR partners while delivering an exceptional candidate experience
- Initiative, resourcefulness, and passion for talent acquisition, including proactive sourcing and building talent pipelines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with local talent markets, community partnerships, targeted recruitment campaigns, and networking events
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Track record of meeting hiring goals and delivering timely recruitment outcomes
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Experience with Workday ATS is considered an asset
