About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, issue, and maintain project BIM Execution Plans and associated workflows
- Lead BEP development with project managers, discipline leads, IT, and other stakeholders
- Execute the BEP and ensure adoption across disciplines and offices
- Support project kickoff, BIM startup activities, model setup, access needs, permissions, and collaboration workflow readiness
- Maintain short-interval look-ahead planning for BIM coordination and deliverables
- Coordinate day-to-day BIM activities across disciplines, offices, and external partners
- Lead multi-discipline model federation and coordination, including clash detection, issue tracking, prioritization, and resolution planning
- Facilitate coordination meetings, track actions, document decisions, and drive closure of model-based issues
- Prepare models for internal and external client-facing reviews; capture and archive correct model versions
- Align model review scope, outcomes, and follow-up actions with project leadership and client stakeholders
- Perform model quality and health checks, including naming conventions, LOD/LOI compliance, attribute completeness, and data validation
- Validate model deliverables and extracted outputs against project requirements, including IFC, COBie, client schemas, and exports
- Coordinate with discipline teams to ensure model content supports drawings, quantities, constructability, and turnover
- Support project model closeout, deliverable packaging, archiving, and final model status documentation
- Operate collaboration and coordination platforms including Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, Navisworks, and applicable SmartPlant tools
- Coordinate with IT and the NPG BIM Manager on access, performance, and environment issues
- Implement approved standardized checks or automation
- Coach discipline users on BIM workflows, coordination expectations, and collaboration practices
- Support onboarding of project team members, including access requests, tool setup, and standards orientation
- Identify workflow pain points, recurring quality issues, and training gaps; escalate recommendations to the BIM Manager
- Support client and partner coordination, BEP alignment, model review preparation, standards alignment, and external model inputs
- Assist with client information requirements by providing project inputs, deliverable examples, and execution status updates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Geomatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field preferred; an equivalent combination of technical education, BIM/VDC training, and relevant project experience will be considered
- 5–10 years of progressive BIM experience in multi-discipline A/E and/or EPC environments, with direct project execution responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience developing and issuing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and leading their execution with multi-discipline teams
- Demonstrated experience in BIM coordination, model federation, issue tracking, and project deliverable support
- Strong working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks
- Experience with Hexagon/SmartPlant toolsets, such as S3D and SDx/SPF
- Experience with CDE/BIM collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360
- Demonstrated experience with model exchange workflows across multiple authoring tools
- Experience performing model checks and supporting model deliverables with discipline teams
- Ability to communicate clearly with project teams, facilitate coordination discussions, and drive action closure across multiple disciplines
- Comfort working in an IT-partnered environment, including access requests, permissions workflows, and basic troubleshooting coordination
- Autodesk Certified Professional (Revit) or equivalent certification, Intergraph SmartPlant, and CM BIM (AGC) certifications are valued but not required
- Experience supporting client model reviews, including version control, archive practices, and issue follow-up tracking, is valued but not required
- Experience applying ISO 19650 principles, including information management practices, BEP development, CDE workflows, and structured model/deliverable organization, is valued but not required
- Experience with information deliverables and data exchange workflows such as IFC, COBie, client schemas, and exports is valued but not required
- Experience working on power, industrial, or highly regulated projects is valued but not required
- No U.S. work authorization sponsorship
