About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide frontline and escalated support for manufacturing systems and operational technology
Configure and troubleshoot Zebra printers using ZPL
Support barcode scanners, production-floor workstations and displays, shop-floor networking, and connected IoT devices
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, application, and network issues affecting production
Respond to manufacturing system incidents and coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts
Support data-related tasks and production workflows, including basic SQL and Splunk query troubleshooting
Coordinate IT support with the broader IT team
Maintain knowledge-base articles and support documentation for supported systems and processes
Help manufacturing and operations teams maintain reliable systems, processes, and uptime

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of IT experience supporting manufacturing technology or in a similar role
Proficiency troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues
Excellent communication and customer service skills, including explaining technical issues to non-technical users
Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
U.S. Person status required to access export-controlled information, specifically U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or qualifying refugee/asylee
Ability to accommodate an onsite full-time work schedule
Preferred: experience with manufacturing systems such as MES, PLCs, and SCADA
Preferred: experience with industrial label printers such as Zebra, ZPL, and BarTender
Preferred: experience supporting production environments or shop-floor systems
Ability to perform the listed physical demands, including occasional lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds
