About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Inspect precision-molded components in kit assembly
- Inspect products and packaging to ensure SARSTEDT quality standards are met
- Verify part numbers, lot numbers, and labeling for accuracy and traceability
- Monitor multiple semi-automated machines and identify defects early
- Document inspection results, production counts, and other key information accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Support basic machine upkeep
- Follow safety procedures and promptly report unsafe conditions
- Support efforts to reduce scrap and improve production quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Exceptional reliability, dependability, and integrity
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and simple calculations
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks
- Ability to work 1st shift, 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays
- Shift availability may change based on business needs
- Frequent use of hands to handle and inspect small parts
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in an environment with ongoing background noise
- Previous manufacturing, inspection, or injection molding experience is nice-to-have
- Background working in a fast-paced production environment is nice-to-have
