About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leverage deep technical and pharmaceutical/life sciences domain expertise and networks to drive revenue growth
- Support sales opportunities and position SAS as a differentiated analytics partner for Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson
- Shape account strategy and support customer engagements
- Act as a trusted advisor across business, technical, and executive stakeholders
- Own technical strategy, selected executive technical relationships, and solution positioning across assigned platinum pharmaceutical accounts
- Expand account coverage and strengthen executive relationships
- Drive solution strategy and coordinate SAS resources
- Accelerate revenue growth by ensuring successful execution of account priorities and customer outcomes
- Partner with account leadership to develop and execute strategic plans
- Identify business priorities, emerging opportunities, and customer needs to expand adoption of SAS solutions
- Support pipeline development, opportunity advancement, proposals, procurement activities, and RFP responses
- Lead customer discovery, workshops, demonstrations, presentations, and solution envisioning efforts
- Translate business challenges into value-driven analytics solutions with measurable outcomes
- Develop account strategies, enablement materials, use cases, and value propositions
- Coordinate sales, technical, consulting, customer success, marketing, and product teams
- Manage account plans, risks, dependencies, action items, and stakeholder engagement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Life Sciences/pharmaceutical consulting, sales support, or related roles
- Proven ability to drive incremental revenue and support complex sales cycles
- Strong understanding of life sciences/pharmaceutical trends, disruption factors, and analytics-driven solutions
- Experience collaborating with partners, system integrators, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate complex technical and analytical concepts in business terms
- Experience contributing to proposals, RFPs, and customer-facing documentation
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders across all levels
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications
- Ability to work on complex issues requiring in-depth analysis and evaluation of multiple variables
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply professional judgment and creative thinking
- Capability to lead initiatives, determine methodologies, and coordinate team activities
- Experience networking with key contacts beyond immediate area of expertise
- Ability to articulate business value and align solutions with customer needs
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must not require now or in the future sponsorship for employment visa status
- Travel requirements: 25-50%
