About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise the daily lifecycle of tens of thousands of retail trades
- Resolve execution discrepancies, batch order exceptions, and failed settlements across partner networks
- Serve as the primary operational contact for custody and execution partners
- Ensure end-to-end processing of batch mutual fund subscriptions/redemptions and daily equity/ETF trades
- Perform daily cash, position, and trade reconciliations between internal platform logs and external partner reporting
- Identify, track, and promptly resolve cash or unit discrepancies
- Act as the operational bridge between Luxembourg finance and business operations and Milan-based product and engineering teams
- Translate systemic operational issues into functional requirements for platform improvements
- Lead operational setup, testing, and launch workflows for upcoming retail investment products, including crypto assets, pension funds, and robo-advisory offerings
- Report to the Head of Satispay’s Investment Firm
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years in Fintech or Investment Operations
- Solid background in wealthtech, retail brokerage, or investment management operations
- Hands-on exposure to mutual funds, equities, ETFs, or crypto products
- Direct experience dealing with 3rd party custodians, trade execution partners, and transfer agents
- Experience operating within fast-growing retail platforms
- Focus on building repeatable, automated processes that eliminate manual interventions as trading volumes scale
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of Italian considered a strong advantage
- Problem-solving ability, strong analytical mindset, and attention to detail
- Willingness to take ownership in a fast-paced environment
