About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and guide efforts to deploy organization-wide strategy
  • Develop and deliver long-term and annual goals related to strategic initiatives
  • Lead the strategy deployment program and develop the system of improvement
  • Guide deployment of Lean and other improvement methods for process improvements, system growth, frontline strategy alignment, and innovation
  • Act as an internal consultant to service lines and departments
  • Oversee and coach interdisciplinary project and improvement teams
  • Provide ongoing and just-in-time education, mentoring, and feedback
  • Identify, scope, lead, manage, coach, and evaluate multiple process improvement projects
  • Partner with sponsors and leaders to champion projects and drive results
  • Train, mentor, and develop organizational continuous improvement expertise
  • Maintain a framework for continuous survey readiness for accreditation
  • Oversee and execute the strategy deployment and organizational excellence project portfolio
  • Drive project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control, transition, and closeout
  • Develop multidisciplinary project plans and manage resources, priorities, timelines, scope, deliverables, dependencies, and constraints
  • Liaise between project teams and departments to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables
  • Conduct project reviews, analyze status results, troubleshoot issues, and manage scope changes and contingency plans
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative research and data analysis supporting strategic goals
  • Define metrics and data collection methods for strategic objectives
  • Collect and analyze market and process data to inform strategic planning and continuous improvement
  • Analyze process effectiveness and develop sustainable, repeatable, quantifiable improvements
  • Provide cost/benefit analyses and establish benchmark data
  • Develop and deliver presentations and reports to executives, leaders, clinicians, and staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Organization Improvement, or other applicable field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
  • Five years or more experience in delivering project management, strategy deployment, and continuous improvement results
  • Preferred: Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Organization Improvement, or other applicable fields
  • Preferred certification: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality
