About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee project controls staff, providing comprehensive cost control, scheduling, progress, reporting, and forecasting
  • Lead and develop the project controls team across cost, schedule, progress, change management, and reporting processes
  • Develop and maintain weekly cost reports, including current projections and forecasts
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and engage project teams in schedule updates and maintenance
  • Develop and maintain engineering and construction progress reporting processes
  • Maintain change management systems covering change orders, budget shifts, trends, and contingency management
  • Perform forward-looking analysis and develop mitigation plans to reduce or eliminate unforeseen cost impacts
  • Implement trending processes supporting forecasting, scheduling, and reporting accuracy
  • Participate in reviews of project controls deliverables with the project team
  • Manage project budgeting, forecasting, progress tracking, payroll coding, data audits, and other project controls processes
  • Establish reporting and data analytics processes for internal and external management reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Controls
  • Ability to work on project sites in Texas, New Mexico or North Dakota
  • Experience in Data Center construction / Power Generation Plants / Oil & Gas
  • Thorough working knowledge of scheduling and costing principles
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
