About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with programmers to analyze customers’ functional needs
Support converting functional needs into requirements documents
Develop and perform quality assurance testing to validate quality products
Collect and analyze customer information to formulate application or system scope and objectives
Analyze and evaluate user requirements, data set availability, report requirements, and system design problems
Define system requirements and prepare system design specifications
Develop requirements documentation, including data and process flow diagrams
Develop user documentation and training materials
Understand requirements and develop and manage test scenarios for new development projects
Design, create, and build test cases, test plans, and test strategies
Communicate, prioritize, and track test execution, defects, and issues
Facilitate functional, regression, user interface, and unit testing across browsers and mobile devices
Perform regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing throughout the development life cycle
Create automated test scripts with the development team
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree, plus practical IT software business analyst experience as described in the job description; or Associate’s degree in computer science or related degree, plus practical IT software business analyst experience as described in the job description; or High School Diploma/GED plus practical IT software business analyst experience as described in the job description
Experience as a Software Tester preferred
Experience with Testing Automation preferred
Experience with Atlassian products preferred
