About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary client-facing producer on social, creator, and influencer campaigns across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Meta
  • Lead client intake and kickoff conversations to define creative, timing, budget, deliverables, and project scope
  • Review creative with clients, interpret feedback, and translate notes into next steps for Creative and Production teams
  • Partner with Creative, Production, and internal teams to assess feasibility and identify challenges, opportunities, and cost implications
  • Convert client and creative discussions into scopes of work, budgets, and schedules
  • Monitor budgets, flag variances and overages, and communicate timelines, risks, and scope changes
  • Identify production risks involving crews, locations, talent, equipment, vendors, and post-production, and develop solutions
  • Build and manage schedules while coordinating departments, vendors, freelancers, and production partners
  • Manage projects through final client approval and delivery
  • Stay current on advertising trends, formats, and best practices across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Meta
  • Work primarily Monday through Friday during core hours of 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM PST, with occasional weekends or late nights as required
  • Attend client meetings at the Sawhorse office and around Los Angeles as needed for LA-area hybrid work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in integrated production, creative production, agency production, or a similar role, primarily on social and creator advertising for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Experience working directly with clients in a creative agency, production company, or similar environment
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, brand advertising, and current social media advertising trends
  • Strong understanding of production budgets, bidding, scheduling, resourcing, and scope management
  • Working knowledge of photo and video production, including crews, locations, talent, equipment, vendors, and post-production
  • Experience assessing creative feasibility and translating ideas into actionable production plans
  • Experience across digital media and the traditional TV and film industry
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with confidence presenting project statuses in client and department meetings
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work weekends or late nights when required and be on set for production shoot dates
  • Nice to have: Based in the Los Angeles area and available for hybrid work, with ability to attend client meetings in person
  • Nice to have: Experience coordinating creator and influencer talent on branded campaigns
  • Nice to have: Experience producing paid social deliverables, including cutdowns and platform-specific variants
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with Movie Magic Budgeting, Airtable, or Google Sheets
  • Nice to have: Exposure to UGC gaming platforms or generative AI content
