About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead successful delivery of hyperscale data center campuses ranging from 1GW to 8GW+

  • Facilitate stakeholder decision-making and resolve issues collaboratively
  • Translate executive strategy into executable plans
  • Integrate development, engineering, procurement, construction, and operations
  • Coordinate general contractors, trade partners, utilities, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Lead coordination forums, pull-planning sessions, interface workshops, and schedule development
  • Develop phased deployment strategies and align sequencing with utility delivery, procurement, and customer commitments
  • Lead distributed field teams and optimize site logistics, productivity, and sequencing
  • Structure collaborative contracts and resolve changes, claims, and disputes
  • Lead integrated design, preconstruction, constructability, scalability, repeatability, and value engineering efforts
  • Coordinate supply chain and procurement strategies and mitigate procurement risks
  • Lead commissioning, integrated system testing, issue resolution, and operational turnover
  • Champion safety culture, risk workshops, mitigation planning, and lessons learned
  • Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to executives, customers, utilities, and regulatory agencies
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams and foster continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience managing data centers or other large-scale capital construction projects
  • 15+ years of professional experience in related fields
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multiple complex projects and EPC contractors simultaneously
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in capital budgeting, forecasting, and contract management
  • Experience in multi-prime, design-build, or alternative procurement delivery models preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Primavera P6, MS Project, Monday.com, Procore, or similar project management tools
  • Deep understanding of CSA and MEP construction management principles
  • Experience interfacing with utilities, permitting authorities, lenders, and independent engineers
  • Ability to travel 50-60% as needed
  • California, Texas, or Ohio preferred as work locations
