About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop entirely new products and innovate within the existing technology stack
- Conduct research, analysis, design, and planning
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create software solutions
- Analyze systems, define problems, specify requirements, and propose solutions
- Continuously roll out new application features
- Document solutions using code, diagrams, and documentation
- Analyze processes and suggest operational improvements
- Support and mentor fellow engineers
- Uphold coding standards and mentor junior and mid-level engineers
- Brainstorm and create new products and features with the team
- Provide estimated delivery times
- Make informed decisions and take ownership of large-scale services and applications

Requirements
What you’ll need- Eligible to work in Canada
- 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in SaaS application development
- Experience leading technical initiatives through mentorship, technical standards, and stakeholder communication
- Strong problem-solving abilities and continuous-learning mindset
- Skilled in .NET framework (C#) and React (Typescript), or equivalent programming languages
- Strong SQL and database management skills
- Proficient in AWS/Azure environments
- Familiarity with DevOps practices is a plus
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify data requirements
- Ability to use development tools and techniques, including AI-assisted development
- Secure coding and confidentiality practices
