About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct the day-to-day administration of the Human Resources function
- Structure and integrate shared services, human capital intelligence, people relations, and HR technology to optimize service delivery
- Determine, deploy, and refine the HR functional organization and delivery strategy
- Design, develop, and implement HR services for internal and external customers
- Manage HR projects to solve talent problems and create or upgrade HR resources, practices, and policies
- Develop and implement business-focused HR metrics and deliver workforce reporting and analytics
- Develop and implement an HR technology strategy and oversee automation of HR activities
- Direct people relations services promoting healthy work relationships, fair and equitable treatment, and regulatory compliance
- Lead development and tracking of the overall HR budget
- Review and analyze HR expenditures and adjust budget plans
- Manage outsourced HR services, vetting vendors and holding them accountable to service commitments
- Support SCAN’s Vision and Goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business Administration or Human Resources
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred
- 10+ years of business experience with exposure to multiple functional areas within an organization
- 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources leadership role
- Work experience with a health plan or other major healthcare system is desirable
- Strong management skills with the ability to organize and lead staff in the delivery of HR services
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including people relations, talent management and total rewards
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify trends and forecast issues
- Strong knowledge of Federal and California employment laws is required
- Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain confidential information
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Background check required
