  • Use Geographic Information System (GIS) tools and company systems to analyze and process geospatial information.
  • Generate information to populate spatial databases.
  • Support the preparation of manuals and documentation for geospatial processes.
  • Perform related activities as directed by management.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cartographic Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Surveying Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geospatial Technology, Geography, Biology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
  • Experience interpreting satellite imagery for land use and land cover classification.
  • Basic knowledge of vectorization using QGIS or ArcGIS.
  • Basic knowledge of cartography, remote sensing, and geospatial analysis.
  • Knowledge of photointerpretation fundamentals and image classification.
  • Basic knowledge of Brazilian biomes, vegetation types, and socio-environmental dynamics.
  • Ability to handle recurring processes methodically, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly.
  • Analytical thinking and a commitment to continuous learning.
