Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics, or 4+ years of industry experience
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming for device interfaces and Linux development practices
  • Proficiency in industry-standard development tools and processes, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and peer review
  • Record of writing clean, scalable software for complex systems
  • Ability to adapt and troubleshoot in a dynamic R&D environment
  • Proficiency in Python and shell scripting
  • Preferred: experience in aerospace, robotics, or performance vehicles industries
  • Preferred: familiarity with the Nix build system
  • Preferred: experience with SQL databases, especially SQLite for system logging
  • Preferred: experience building physics-based simulators and visualization
  • Preferred: experience developing hardware interfaces such as ADC, GPIO, motor controllers, and power switching
  • Preferred: experience with Serial, CAN, and Ethernet communication protocols
  • Preferred: experience with ZeroMQ and MQTT multi-process messaging systems
  • Preferred: familiarity with Jira, GitLab, Confluence, and Agile processes
  • Preferred: experience in telecommunications or RF connectivity
  • Preferred: experience developing user interfaces for flight/space operations
  • Preferred: experience setting up networking and writing deployment and monitoring scripts
