About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the implementation of scalable and modern architecture as defined by the team
- Develop, test, and release high-quality iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, QA, and DevOps to deliver impactful features
- Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate test coverage
- Support automated testing and app stability in collaboration with QA
- Help manage CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps
- Participate in code reviews and share best practices
- Help improve the Podme iOS app for podcasts and audiobooks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong understanding of Apple’s design and development guidelines
- Strong investigative mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving and debugging
- Good understanding of SwiftUI and Reactive programming (Combine/RxSwift/ReactiveSwift)
- Some understanding of CoreData/SwiftData and Streaming (AVFoundation)
- Experience building scalable, extendable architectures
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and app monitoring
- Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
- Experience building and maintaining apps with a large user base (bonus)
- Knowledge of DRM (Digital Rights Management) for secure content delivery (bonus)
- Familiarity with CarPlay, Apple Watch or Chromecast development (bonus)
