About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
Stock, straighten, and rotate products on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments
Process incoming products from the warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
Sort damaged products for credit
Operate material-handling equipment, including a hand jack, power lift, and cardboard baler
Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler, and freezer
Maintain company productivity standards
Perform other duties assigned by store management
Complete store-level training

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be 18 years or older to apply
Open availability, including weekends
Regular, reliable attendance
Ability to read and understand shelf tags
Ability to operate a hand jack, power lift, and cardboard baler
Ability to follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
Ability to stock 50 cases per hour
Ability to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
Ability to push a loaded two wheeler averaging 100-120 pounds
Ability to pull a loaded pallet up to 700 pounds
Ability to pull a loaded stock truck
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work on feet for the entire 4-8 hour shift
For internal Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred
For internal Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred
Internal candidates must be in good standing, not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline
Internal candidates must have manager approval based on performance if invited for an interview
