About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide primarily one-to-one instruction to high school students
  • Teach AP Statistics, college-preparatory statistics, probability and statistical reasoning, and data analysis, interpretation, and application
  • Adapt pacing, instruction, and support to each student's individual learning needs
  • Teach classes in real time, primarily in person, with limited virtual instruction when appropriate
  • Work teaching hours based on student enrollment and demand
  • Support students within a safe, nurturing, close-knit learning community
  • Fill the position as soon as possible for the 2026–27 academic year

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of one year of teaching experience
  • Preferably teaching experience at the high-school level or above
  • Comfortable teaching AP Statistics
  • Comfortable teaching college-preparatory statistics
  • Comfortable teaching probability and statistical reasoning
  • Comfortable teaching data analysis, interpretation, and application
  • Experience teaching additional mathematics courses is a strong plus, but not required
  • California teaching credential is not required
  • Must be able to work without relocation assistance or employer-sponsored work visas
