About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide program control support services in program finance and analysis, annual and multi-year fiscal planning, and work-plan development
  • Track budgets, monitor costs, prepare project financials, explain variances, and provide forecasts
  • Research and analyze data to derive relationships across Program Finance functions, including budget analysis, systems, schedules, cost variations, and Earned Value Management
  • Interpret, assess, and analyze planning documents and directives to determine effects on PMO objectives and plans
  • Participate as a cost analyst in planning, coordinating, and conducting operations research studies of material/support systems
  • Assess the cost impact of major hardware components and related support systems with the Program Manager
  • Monitor cost, schedule, technical, and operational aspects of assigned projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Engineering or Science required
  • No experience required for a Bachelor's level; two years' experience desired
  • Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal
  • Past Deltek/Costpoint Program Finance and Budget Analysis experience desired
  • MS Office with excellent Excel knowledge/skills preferred
  • Earned Value Management (EVMS) and Deltek Cobra experience a plus
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD Security Clearance if/when required
  • Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO or higher
